Gaia Retreat & Spa was founded in 2005 by Gregg Cave, Ruth Kalnin, Olivia Newton-John and Warwick Evans (G.R.O.W.), born from friendship, dreams and a shared vision of heart and healing. Nestled in the Byron Bay Hinterland, it has grown into one of Australia’s most awarded wellness retreats.

Now guided by new custodians, Fiveight, Gaia continues to honour its founding vision—offering boutique healing experiences designed for rest, renewal and reconnection. Here, every journey is tailored, creating a sanctuary where you can slow down, realign and nurture your wellbeing in a safe, tranquil environment.
