Can I check in any day?

Yes, Gaia is one of the few retreats that offer check in when it suits and is convenient for you.

What is the best time to arrive?

Check in is after 2pm and Check out is 11am daily. Our complimentary transfers are available from either Coolangatta or Ballina Airport within set times, 7 days a week. As we are a retreat, Check ins arriving by car must arrive before 5.00pm daily. Exclusive Luxury Limousines can be booked at an additional charge, and helicopter transfers can be arranged by contacting us directly.

Is Gaia a place for Children?

To maximize what Gaia has to offer our minimum age for guests is 16.

Do Guests Travel alone?

Yes, many guests travel alone, which is the perfect way to truly retreat and capture the true essence of the experience. Our team will make sure you are well looked after whether you choose a solitary retreat or the company of others, Gaia is a wonderful way to bond a friendship and connect with others.

Should I bring my mobile or my laptop?

At Gaia we want you to escape the stresses of new millennium living, and we offer you the perfect haven. Mobile phones are permitted at Gaia, however to respect the tranquility of other guests we ask that phones be switched off and not used in any public areas of the property. They may however be used in your rooms or on Samira Lookout.

Laptops are also allowed at Gaia, although we recommend you leave work at work, remember this is your time out.Free wireless connection is available in Kukura house for those who just have to bring it.
